2017 ONE Power Summit Application

The ONE Power Summit is a leadership conference that brings ONE's top volunteer advocates, including students, community leaders, and faith volunteers from across the nation to Washington, DC for issue briefings, skills training and lobbying on behalf of the world's poorest.

The 2017 ONE Power Summit is from February 25-28 at the Kellogg Conference Center in Gallaudet University- 800 Florida Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002. Participants will travel home on March 1st.

The opening session of the Power Summit will begin at 4:00pm EST on Saturday, February 25th. We have a very limited number of sleeping rooms available for the night of Friday, February 24th for those who are unable to arrive by 4:00pm on Saturday, February 25th. Please designate your need to arrive on Friday on the appropriate application page. Designating need for a Friday room does NOT guarantee that you will get one. We will let you know, as space is extremely limited. Please let us know immediately if you have any scheduling conflicts that prohibit you from attending the entire conference.

ONE will cover hotel accommodations and most meals. Up to 4 meals must be covered on your own. You are responsible for paying for your own travel costs to and from DC, though a limited number of travel scholarships are available. If accepted, you MUST send ONE your travel itinerary no later than February 6th. This application includes all participation agreements and travel policy agreements, but please note that filling this agreements out does NOT constitute admittance to attend the Summit.

Attire for the Power Summit is business casual for sessions and business professional for lobby day on Tuesday, February 28th.

 Please read the below timeline thoroughly for more information about the application and acceptance timeline.

APPLICATION TIMELINE:

-Monday, November 14: Application deadline.

-Friday, December 16: All decision emails will be distributed no later than this date (every applicant will receive notice).

-Monday, January 9: Last day to cancel participation (please email field@one.org AND your Regional Field Director/Campus Manager if you are no longer able to attend)

**Any applicants who cancel past this date will be charged a $150 fee if we are unable to fill your spot.

-Monday, Feburary 6: Last day to send ONE your travel itinerary.
